Frequently Asked

Questions families ask.

When should I hire a doula?

Most families book between weeks 20–30, but I take last-minute clients when my schedule allows. Earlier means more time to plan together — but it's never too late to feel held.

Do you replace my OB or midwife?

No — I work alongside your medical team. I don't perform clinical exams or deliver babies. I'm your steady, informed support person before, during, and after.

What if I want a hospital birth, not a home birth?

I support all birth settings — hospitals, birth centers, and home births. My role is to help you feel grounded and informed wherever you choose to give birth.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. All packages can be split into 3 or 6 payments at no extra cost. Reach out and we'll find something that works.

What's the cancellation policy?

A 25% deposit holds your spot. The remainder is refundable up to 4 weeks before your due date. Once on call, the package is non-refundable but transferable.

How does Medi-Cal coverage work?

If you're Medi-Cal eligible, doula support is a fully covered benefit — no out-of-pocket cost. I'm a registered Medi-Cal doula provider and handle all the paperwork on my end.
